Sunset over the islands off Saint Barth

SuitcaseReady is now affiliated with Epic Experiences, a full service Travel Agency specializing in weddings and honeymoons; group travel; and custom experiential vacactions with a focus on food and wine. I can also book escorted tours, packages, cruises, hotels, and transfers worldwide. Through my network of contacts I can also book unique day trips and tours, cooking classes and wine tastings.

It really benefits you to use a travel professional to plan and book your trips. It will save you time, reduce your stress over making errors, and probably offer you things you never knew existed. Your happiness is my business and I will strive to make sure every aspect of your destination wedding or vacation is as close to perfection as possible. I began my travel career flawlessly arranging a meeting for a large group of dentists and can arrange an amazing trip for your group too.

Why I’m different than other agents or booking online:

I come from the competitive world of high-priced advertising sales, where everything is done immediately. From the minute you contact me, I will be focused on every detail of your trip. I will find the best suppliers, properties, experiences, and destinations for your dream vacation – and report back to you as quickly as I can. Your calls and emails will be returned promptly, even when I am out of the country.

As a new agent, I’m highly enthusiastic and taking advantage of all the educational opportunities available. Every weekend and most evenings, I am studying destinations, the newest properties, cruise ships, and experiences available around the world.

Princess tendencies with a value state of mind. Comfortable in Saint Barth, Paris, the Maldives, and private island dive resorts off the coast of Belize, I am at ease in luxurious surroundings, but search for value whenever possible. You can be sure I will always find the best value for your vacation dollars and tailor trips to your specific needs. I will include much more than you ever expected was possible.

Exhaustive research. Sure, you can find cheaper packages online. I will offer you special things you never knew existed.

Detail oriented. Every phase of your trip will be buttoned-up, to the extent you want. Let me focus on every phase of your trip. And, I will remind you of things you forgot, like to renew your passport or to sign up for no currency-transaction fee credit cards.

Awesome, flawless group trips. Groups are my specialty. I handle all travel for the Saint Barth Dental Association and can create an amazing experience for your meeting, group, family, or destination wedding. In addition to booking great hotels, spectacular villas, and a wide range of cars, I provide attendees with insider information like the best restaurants, beach bars, night spots. Extra services like activity reservations and  tips for navigating the airports make life easier for groups I book.

My specialties:

Honeymoons, Destination Weddings, and Groups. I love working with groups and arranging travel for destination weddings! You can trust my detail oriented nature to organize your party, negotiation skills to get you a lot of extra amenities, and knowledge of the most unique destinations for your dream wedding, honeymoon, or meeting.

River cruises. A certified River Cruise Specialist with Scenic, Uniworld, AMAwaterways, Avalon Waterways, Emerald Waterways, and Viking River Cruises, I can suggest the perfect river cruise for your travel style, desired destination and budget.

As a solo traveler since the age of 15, I have the resources and first-hand knowledge of being a woman on the road, paying her own way.

My goal is to provide solo travelers with value. Instead of booking packages with unreasonable single supplements, I will always work to find solo travelers the best properties and packages. In fact, I was able to negotiate 3 NO-single supplement cabins with Uniworld for an upcoming wine focused trip in Bordeaux.

Food, wine, craft beers. Are you passionate about wine of a certain region? Or want to try more of wines and foods of certain countries. Or are craft beers more your thing? I can design trips around your specific interests in food, wine, craft beer or distilleries. If you’d like to really explore the food traditions of your favorite countries, I can arrange cooking classes worldwide. If you want to spend time touring and tasting the best Rioja wineries in Spain, and don’t want to drive – I know where to send you.

City vacations. If you want to immerse in Paris, Mexico City, or London – or a combination of cities, I can develop a custom trip that highlights the best the city has to offer. Meet the locals, study cooking, visit markets or learn a new language. It can all be arranged for you.

Machu Picchu emerging from clouds, #Peru

Ancient ruins. Are you interested in the Maya, the Incas or the Khmer? Do the underground burial sights and medieval cities of Malta intrigue you? Having traveled extensively to ruins worldwide, I can develop itineraries that go beyond the usual tourist sights – and tell you the best places to stay and eat in some of these distant locations.

You can count on me to develop a vacation you will remember for the rest of your life.

Some of the places I know intimately and can book for you:

Saint Barthelemy. Take advantage of my relationships with hotels, villas and a friendly/well stocked car rental agency on the island. As the travel partner of the Saint Barth Dental Association, I have a long term, volume business with the island’s best hotels and villa companies, that benefits you. I can tell you where to shop, eat, beach, hang at night – and navigate the complex travel arrangements that make this exclusive island elusive.

Mexico. I made my first trip to Mexico in 1989 and have been traveling there annually ever since. A Yucatan Peninsula Destination Expert on Tripadvisor and a Mexico Destination and Romance Travel Specialist Agent, I know the colonial cities, small towns, Maya ruins and beach areas of the Yucatan well.

Mexico City is one of my favorite places, and I know the safest neighborhoods, filled with excellent restaurants, world class museums and galleries, scenic food and craft markets, and well-curated shops.

Whether you’re interested in  a fantastic cooking school in central Mexico, the wonderful cities of Mexico City, Tlaxcala, and Puebla – or further exploration in the country – I have the expertise and contacts to arrange an excellent trip for you.

I know Paris: Tourist sights and Off the Beaten Track

France. My first solo trip when I was 15, I’ve been visiting Southwest France and Paris regularly. Having lived with and maintained strong contacts with a French family, I know the customs and tips that can enhance any trip to France and eliminate most of the negative issues travelers encounter.

From Paris‘ best neighborhoods for your style of travel; restaurants, museums, wine bars and off the beaten track locations; to the Cote Basque, I can plan an amazing trip in France for you and prepare you with as much or as little area information as you desire.

Belize. I’ve been going to Belize since 2003 and am a Belize Destination Specialist. Whether you never want to leave the beach – or partake in water sports; exploring local cultures like the Maya and Garifuna; and try excellent local food, beer and local rums, I have insider’s knowledge to design the perfect trip for you. I also know a great local (American) fixer in Belize who facilitates special arrangements for film/TV shoots, destination weddings, and unique excursions.

Peru. A certified Peru Agent Specialist, I can book your trips to Cusco, Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, Puno, and other major sights in Peru. Whether your budget is large or small, I can probably create a package that works for you.

New York and nearby cities. Dreaming of visiting NYC but don’t know where to start? As a long-time resident, well connected NY travel blogger, and NYC fanatic, let me arrange your trip and show you the best New York has to offer. I can also arrange combo trips to NYC and any other US destinations you want to visit.

Major US cities/sights. As a top media salesperson for 20+ years, I’ve entertained clients at some of the best restaurants in US cities, often flying to Chicago just for lunch. With extensive travels and downtime in Chicago, San Francisco, New Orleans, San Diego, Boston, Providence, Washington DC, and Philadelphia, I know the best hotels for all budgets, the dining scene, major sights, great tours, and how to maximize business trips by extending a few days to explore.

If you’ve always wanted to visit Santa Fe, Taos and Albuquerque in New Mexico, I have a great route for you, with hotels for all budgets, noted restaurants, museums, Georgia O’Keeffe settings, and Indian communities.

London pub with flowers
I know London: local neighborhoods, great markets and boutique hotels

London. I lived in London during college and have made frequent return trips in the years since. Each trip I stay in a different neighborhood to broaden my knowledge of this city. I can provide you with lists of restaurants, shopping areas, markets, sights – and the most important tip of all: always look left – as well as right – when crossing the street.

Guatemala. Interested in Maya ruins and culture, weaving, colonial cities, textile shopping or learning Spanish? If budget is holding you back from travel – I know a place where $8/night charming hotel rooms are the norm.

India. My relationship with an Indian travel company based in Delhi, affords you custom arrangements at the best rates, insider’s knowledge of where to stay, visit, and see exactly what interests you in India.

New Orleans lush balcony
I know New Orleans. The restaurants, hotels, sights, and Mardi Gras crewes

Having spent significant time in SE Asia; Caribbean islands known for snorkeling and diving (Bonaire, Cayman, BVIs); Jamaica; Panama; Ecuador; Spain; Canada; England; Ireland; Malta; Italy; Spain; and most of the US, I can also style fantastic trips to these locations.

Whether you want me to plan and book your entire trip, or to plan/book a single component an existing itinerary, please email me at Eva at SuitcaseReady.com or by filling out the contact form below.
