Have you had enough of poorly-structured packaged vacations?
Are you looking for more flexibility?
Are you tired of winging it and having trips that are just OK?
Does something disasterous happen every time you travel?
If you’ve answered “yes” or even “maybe” to any of the above questions, you’ve come to the right place! This site was designed for you.
The more time I spend on travel forums, the more I realize travelers seek a resource for general yet thorough information that provides them with everything they need to plan trips and travel smoothly every time.
Countless sites provide destination information, discount bookings, hotel or restaurant information. There are packing lists, travel photo tips – but there was no place to provide travelers with all the information they need to travel, start to finish. Until now.
Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned traveler, you can find tips, tools and products here you can use to improve every trip. From researching destinations, preparing for trips, and staying safe once on the ground – this site covers it all.
Here you will find information and links to the best resources for travelers. Products and services that have been road tested by me, through a lifetime of travel.
If you don’t have the desire or time to plan your own trips, I can do it for you. As a full service agency, I can develop amazing trips for you to destinations around the world. With a focus on custom, experiential travel, I will develop unique experiences, and those complex itineraries and multi-destination stays that leave a lot of room for error when you do it yourself. Groups are also a specialty!
Please email me at eva @ SuitcaseReady.com (without the spaces) or use the contact form at the top of the page. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Topics to be covered will include: packing (for city, adventure, beach vacations, weekend or business trips); safety and security; how to find the best hotels, restaurants, airfare, museum/attraction passes, transportation passes; your first business trip; extending business trips for pleasure; when to plan, when to wing it; and what to do when things go wrong.
Since NYC is such a high ranked tourist destination and I’ve lived here for more than 30 years, significant coverage is also devoted to my city. My intent is to provide inside information not available elsewhere.
Throughout this site are links to competitively priced products that I use and highly recommend, from sources I trust based on repeat purchases.
All the photos here were taken by me unless otherwise noted.
Happy Travels!
